Caregiver Training & Assistance Program
Kern Around The Clock Foundation is a private, nonprofit 501 ( c ) (E) organization that provides support to Kern County caregivers through a federal grant made possible by the Kern County Department of Aging & Adult Services. The Foundation offers free in-home training and links clients to community resources and a monthly support group for caregivers in Bakersfield, Arvin and Lamont (the areas currently services through the grant).
Caregiver services are provided free of charge for those caring for patients age 60 and over and/or patients with neurological disorders. Our ultimate goal is to keep caregivers happy, healthy, trained and updated on available resources. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient and caregiver, to help them remain safe and independent in their home. We welcome the opportunity to see how we can best serve each client.
